The Engineering Product Support Directorate (EPSD) mission is to provide superior mission support and data integrity through innovation, collaboration, accountability, and flawless execution throughout the product life cycle, resulting in best value solutions. Our responsibilities include minimizing the total cost of ownership through engineering upfront planning and decision analysis related to product reliability, maintainability, supportability, safety and environmental impacts to our customers. It also includes the operational aspects of mission support such as field and technical support, repairs and spares management and program management support. EPSD also is responsible for configuration management, including software configuration management, as well as data management. Our vision is to be the provider of innovative affordable engineering solutions for product life cycle assurance and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
Entry level Engineer is responsible for providing general engineering support to electrical and mechanical design teams and various Raytheon programs. The tasks could include; and are not limited to the following: Conducting a formal, systematic verification of electrical drawing packages, including circuit card assembly (or flexible circuit assembly) drawings, printed wiring board drawings and schematics developed using computer aided design tools. Job responsibility includes confirming that the synchronization of drawings with the design databases from which they were developed is verified. Checking and verification of mechanical parts and assemblies, as well as be responsible for design verification including checking the electronic data output for integrity and consistency. Drawings consist of both complex and simple machined parts, castings and other fabricated items. Designs are checked for form, fit and function, to Program Unique Requirements and Company Standards. Configuration verification processes and procedures involved in production programs. Providing business, administrative and technical support directly to engineering IPTs enabling engineers to focus on the technical aspects of the design process. Assisting with documenting engineering changes and variances, tracking design projects, database creation and support, data analysis and support for engineering tools.
The candidate must be able to develop technical solutions to problems through use of ingenuity and creativity with minimal supervision. Candidate must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work autonomously while establishing schedule and priority needs. Must be able to develop a working knowledge of military and commercial design standards related to electronic packaging and mechanical designs. The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with co-workers and customers in a team environment. Candidate must be able to obtain a security clearance.

Required Education (including Major):
Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Math, Science or Engineering Discipline from an ABET accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
The Job Title for a Bachelor of Science degree is a Multi-Disciplined Engineer I. The Job Title for a Master of Science degree is a Multi-Disciplined Engineer II.
