Job Description

Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. (CNI) was created for the purpose of promoting the economic development and long-term financial viability of the Chickasaw Nation.

CNI now owns and manages many business enterprises that collectively employ more than 2,000 people. The long-term strategy of CNI is to continue to grow by expanding the number of federal contracts and through selective acquisition of small 8(a) companies that fit the CNI business model. CNI will remain a business enterprise that supports and adds value to the economic independence of the Chickasaw Nation.

The COOP Planner is responsible for the development and management of the Continuity of Operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for the integration of CNI Core Competencies into daily functions, including: commitment to integrity, knowledge/quality of work, supporting financial goals of the company, initiative/motivation, cooperation/relationships, problem analysis/discretion, accomplishing goals through organization, positive oral/written communication skills, leadership abilities, commitment to Affirmative Action, reliability/dependability, flexibility and ownership/accountability of actions taken.

Facilitates and coordinates workshops and continuity planning sessions to establish business continuity/COOP program to ensure the continuity of government.

Interfaces with clients, vendors and agency personnel to establish and monitor business continuity/COOP plans and procedures.

Coordinates and monitors simulation testing for scenarios across all platforms and assists in the planning and organization of recovery tests. Prepares pre-test objectives and post-test reports for the client and operations management personnel.

Investigates, plans, documents, implements and maintains business continuity/COOP plans to ensure customer/agency needs are met.

Advises, formulates and reviews the activities of crisis management teams to ensure business continuity/COOP plans are implemented consistently across all projects and departments.

Develops awareness incentives to ensure agency staff and contractors are aware of the continuity services, as well as the policies and procedures associated with the services.

Develops technical and programmatic assessments, evaluates engineering and integration initiatives and provides technical support to assess security policies, standards and guidelines. Implements, enforces and communicates security policies and/or plans for data, software applications, hardware and telecommunications.

Performs product evaluations, recommends and implements products/services for network security. Validates and tests security architecture and design solutions to produce detailed engineering specifications with recommended vendor technologies.

Assists in the development, testing, and operations of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-virus systems and software deployment tools.

Assists in the enforcement of security directives, orders, standards, plans and procedures at server sites. Ensures system support personnel receive/maintain security awareness and training.

Maintains data and communicates to management the impact on business/customer caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information.

Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to any training made available by the company.

Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor's instruction in such away as to maximize output.

Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers.

Will relay any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and Human Resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions to the best of own ability.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and 5 years experience maintaining Contingency Operations or equivalent combination of education and experience.
