Description First Community Mortgage, a division of First National Bank Texas, is celebrating its 20th Anniversary. We have risen to become the leading mortgage provider in the Central Texas area. Due to our continued growth and success we are expanding and have opportunities across the state of Texas.
We are currently recruiting in the following markets:
Dallas
El Paso

Job Functions Include:

Taking customer loan applications, to include pulling credit, either face to face or over the phone

Develop business relationships with local Real Estate agents and builders

Manage territory of First Convenience Banks by training employees on mortgage loan basics and developing contacts with partner store management(Walmart/Kroger) *Presentation skills, including but not limited to First Time Home Buyer Seminars, realtor sales meetings, product training, etc.

Communicate with borrowers and real estate agents throughout loan process.

Issue and explain pre-qualification letters, disclosures and all other initial compliance documentation for borrower(s); to include Good Faith Estimates, Truth-In-Lending and APR.
Travel as needed

This position is 100% commission.

Requirements *High School Graduate or GED

Two or more years of recent mortgage origination experience

Knowledge of VA, FHA, and conventional mortgage loan programs

Knowledge of running LP, DU and Clout Automated Underwriting Systems

Ability to work with Calyx Point mortgage originating and processing software

Self motivated, and capable of working from a home office with limited supervision

Ability to review and understand credit reports

Skilled at troubleshooting files and addressing issues as soon as they arise

Excellent organizational skills
