Cost Accountant

Purpose:
Cost Accountant

The ideal Cost Accountant candidate will have manufacturing experience and create procedures to improve upon the standard cost and inventory transaction processing systems. This position will report directly to the Controller and is located in Elk Grove Village.

Responsibilities
• Monthly cost related journal entries and other journal entries as assigned
• Manage the annual inventory counting process and valuing the inventory
• Reconcile inventory valuations to the general ledger
• Monthly account analysis as assigned
• Prepare required reports

Qualifications
• Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Five to seven years accounting and manufacturing experience
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• SAP experience is a plus
