Work with the Application development teams to support application changes into Production environment
Responsible for trouble-shooting and resolving production issues
Work with Application Development team to implement remediation and remedial solutions
Provide support and training to Operation teams related to application and processes and help resolve application issues
Respond to User Queries and Incident Tickets, tracking them to resolution in a timely manner
Analyze/trouble shoot production issues escalated from Operation Teams
Provide support of Application and ensure a high availability to internal and external users/clients by responding to application related issues or requests.
Provide coverage and initialization of application for U.S. Holidays
Work Stream/Project Management
Manage multiple project work streams from planning to completion.
Manage and coordinate large global teams
Work with Technology, Operations and Stakeholders to determine process improvements and strategic direction, including development of and monitoring of ROI.
Define the detailed business requirements for enhancements required to support/enhance various Worldwide Securities Services applications and workflow
Define and implement Best Practice Project Management and complete postmortem reviews on projects
Coordinate training business users on new enhancement and related risks and controls
Manage and execute testing: review system design, identify automated testing opportunities, ensure testing is done within the agreed timelines, document and triage errors discovered, coordinate status reporting.
Communication and escalation at senior levels
Coordinate with other Global Project Leaders to provide Global Status updates to leaders and ensure project, process and control consistency throughout the organization.
Become the overall SME for the work-stream and be able to represent operational teams
Lead a team that gathers and document stories / requirements, and participate in technology and global business calls on behalf of the Operations team
Engage Technology and Operations resources and subject matter experts across geographic regions
Communicate with Stakeholders to advise of critical issues and resolve project conflicts
Develop high performing teams and enforce high engagement
Controls and Readiness
Responsible for reporting project risks, status and benefits tracking to Senior Stakeholders.
Mitigate risks through proactive issue identification
Update milestone matrix, risk and interdependency summaries
Functional Project Management & Technology Experience
Analytical skills, problem solving, good critical thinking and decision-making skills
Knowledge of securities services industry and products is preferred
Knowledge of Fund Services (Accounting, Fund Administration ,Tax) a plus
Exceptional problem/issue resolution skills
Expert use of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
Marketplace or Industry Knowledge
International / Global project work experience a plus operations areas preferred
