URS Corporation is seeking a Process Technology Director to be based in our Denver, CO location.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
The role of Technology Managers should be to utilize their skills and experience, through technical excellence, in assisting the company to attract talent and business opportunity. This should be accomplished through several primary activities.
•Technical leadership in the assigned technology area including, but not limited to;
oTechnical assurance and quality of deliverables on all work products,
oKey resource staffing, supervision oversight, and development,
oTechnology development and positioning,
oIndustry profile and recognition, and
oKey customer technical relationships.
•Pursuit of studies, and technology partnerships that may lead to subsequent FEED’s, and EPC opportunity.
•Assurance of Business Unit P&L on any assigned technology area.
•Management of Business Unit overhead expenditure in the assigned technology area.
•Strategic support to the VP Technology Group in terms of market and technology analyses.
•Development of technical talent working in the assigned technology area.
•Maintain and secure supplier relationships and market intelligence for proprietary equipment associated with the assigned technology area.
•Maintain design tools and procedures specific to assigned technology area.
•Focus on publication/presentation opportunity for external marketing.
•Review and contribute to proposals as requested to help develop competitive advantage and assure content.
•Develop independent client interface for technical development opportunities and performance assurance on assigned prospects/projects.
•Assure contract interface on technical issues between BD and Operations is seamless for technology related issues (e.g., performance commitments/ guarantees).
•Provide leadership to Technology Managers in assigned area.
•Source two (2) paid studies.
•Participate in two (2) industry profile conferences.
•Suggest one (1) presentation or publication.
•Overhead cost for assigned area will not exceed annual budget.
•Hire a minimum of two (2) process engineers through personal contacts.
•Secure and maintain a minimum of three (3) key client relationships.
•Mentor at least one (1) individual for formal development.
•Build industry credibility.
•Oversight assurance for technical project execution.

•Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline or the sciences from a four year accredited college or university.
•Minimum 20 years applicable industry experience.
•Experience with GOSP.
•Experience with Field Gas Production, Processing and Compression.
•Experience with Gas Treating & Dehydration.
•Experience with NGL Recovery and Processing.
•Conceptual, PreFEED, FEED, EPC.
•Demonstrated excellence in innovation, design and practical application of technologies.
•Client recognition of excellence.
•Industry recognition of excellence.
•Master of Science or Doctorate in specialty of discipline preferred.
•Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
