Salary:Negotiable

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience.

For some positions assigned to this class special qualifications may be added to the minimum, such as possession of a State of Florida CPA certificate.

Preferences: -Fifteen years of progressively more responsible professional accounting and financial experience.

-Experience in higher education a plus.

-Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

-Knowledge of computerized accounting systems including ad hoc reporting ability.

-Current knowledge of and ability to stay current on Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards.

-Qualified candidates will be self-starters, have a proven track record of success and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Special Conditions:-Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate.
