Description TimberTech is a growing, leading manufacturer of low-maintenance, high quality composite decking, railing and fencing products. TimberTech, a subsidiary of Crane Plastics, operates manufacturing plants in Columbus and Wilmington, Ohio.

JOB SUMMARY
The Territory Sales Representative, under the direction of the Regional Sales Manager, is responsible for selling products by calling on prospective and established customers and determining priority and effort given to each account based on sales potential and sales maintenance. The incumbent will maintain sales programs within assigned territory by keeping customers informed about available services, supplies, prices and new products. The Territory Sales Representative will also monitor competitive activity and trends within the territory and will keep records and prepare reports on sales activities. The incumbent will display a commitment to Crane Core Values.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creates and analyzes sales budgets, goals and business plans in territory
- Creates and maintains relationships with channel partners, including weekly training, traveling and sales calls/meetings
- Creates and implements Sales and Marketing programs for customers
- Acts as representative at trade shows (nationally and/or regionally); generates leads and follows up with contacts and potential customers
- Investigates and evaluates warranty claims in the field, sending data and information to Warranty department
- Manages marketing and promotional funds
- Prepares sales analysis reports
- Builds product displays for dealers and trade shows
- Additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management
Requirements - High School Diploma or GED, required; advanced education and/or related-certification(s), a plus
- Three to five years experience in a similar sales position, preferably in building products industry
- Strong computer skills to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Knowledge of decking products and end-use applications is recommended
- Proficient in understanding/interpreting company financials and proven experience in the budgeting and forecasting process
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upwardly to top management and downward to a wide range of audiences
- Strong communication skills; ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
- Decision-making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally
- Troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
- Must be self-directed, motivated and able to multi-task in a home-office environment with little to no supervision
- Work schedule flexibility, with or without notice, to accommodate the needs of the business
