Description
Akerman Senterfitt, a premier national law firm, is seeking a Consumer Finance Litigation Paralegal for our downtown Orlando office. Applicants should be highly motivated with no less than 5 years litigation experience. Must be able to work independently and be familiar with Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and electronic filing in state and federal courts. The ability to develop rapport with clients and maintain strong working relationships is important. Must exhibit meticulous attention to detail and produce accurate and high-quality work products. Can be trusted to handle extremely confidential and sensitive information.
The successful candidate will be able to handle the multiple and varied responsibilities of case management and trial preparation, including drafting and analyzing legal documents, performing legal research, and discovery of documents in a fast-paced team environment. The candidate should also possess strong organizational and communication skills. A working knowledge of computer applications and litigation support systems including Summation is preferred.
