Oracle Database Developer & Administrator with J2EE Experience

Currently we have an opening for an Oracle Database Developer with database administration skills and some hands-on Java (J2EE) development experience at our Orlando, FL site.  As an integral part of our team on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program, the successful candidate will perform tasks that include, but are not limited to:

• Establishing data lifecycle, retention polices and data flows
• Database, SQL, PL/SQL implementation and performance tuning
• Debugging database related J2EE applications
• Designing, implementing and troubleshooting data access layers and transactions
• Analyzing existing database designs, making constructive changes to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Designing, developing, and testing software modules
• Supporting deployment of a multi-enterprise application system
• Working closely with other database professionals

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• 10+ years of database development and administration experience with Oracle 9i/10g including performance tuning and scaling
• Knowledge of Oracle diagnostic tools
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery
• Experience with SQL & PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, transactional processing, query plan analysis, debugging and tuning
• Experience with Data Modeling (Conceptual, Logical and Physical), database design (DDL) and database manipulation language (DML)
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent working experience with Java (J2EE) coding/development
• Experience with Enterprise Java Beans (eJB), Java Beans, Servlets
• Experience with WebServices development, XML (SOAP)
• Must work well with the related technical, research, and program teams and have proven leadership skills
• Must be able to maintain close and positive working relationships with customers
• Must have outstanding oral and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills
• In compliance with Department of Defense and Department of State standards related to this work, you must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Secret Clearance
