Description

Seeking bi-lingual professional with 3-5 years of export sales experience. Ideal candidate will have specific knowledge of all documents relating to importing/exporting and requirements to ship products out of the country. This position will be responsible for collecting accounts from overseas customers and involved in direct sales to customers/companies in Latin America and South America. Our client is looking for someone with a proven and stable work history in sales. Must be customer service oriented!

  • Communicate with customers with the objective of presenting, explaining and closing sales for their products.
  • Answer inquiries from prospective buyers.
  • Market their products by researching target sectors in select countries. Locate prospective buyers within these sectors by developing a buyer profile and working with those prospects which fit this profile.
  • Build and expand customer data base.
  • Supply product information, create promotions, qualify prospective customers and handle after-sales service requests for parts and maintenance.
 
 
Requirements As an ideal and motivated team player, you must:
  • Be sophisticated, tough, persuasive, dynamic and capable of successful face to face sales. You know how to ask for and get orders after product presentations.
  • Be fluent in Spanish. This is required and must appear in your reply. Fluency in two or more languages is an advantage.       
  •  Have current and previous work history that is clearly export related.
  • Be highly organized, which is absolutely essential due to the high volume of communications you will handle from overseas.
  • Be a highly motivated “self starter" with excellent communication skills.
