Job Description

Cash Poster/Appeals Clerk needed for durable medical goods company located in Irvine, CA.

Pay up to $12/hr, depending on experience. This is a Temporary to Hire opportunity with great benefits including Medical effective 90 days from hire date on company's payroll. Hours 7:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:
Essential responsibility will be focused on Cash Posting of data into Excel spreadsheets - both alpha and numeric entry.
Other duties include:
Proofreading of documents, determine if documents are complete or not, and if not, taking the appropriate steps to get the information needed to complete the documents. 
Assembly of documentation.
Filing. Photocopying. 
May need to occasionally call doctors, insurance companies or sales reps to verify data being input - so should be comfortable on the phones. 

 



Job Requirements
Requirements:
 

Min 2 years General Office experience in the medical industry is preferred.
Banking / Accounting experience is preferred.
Accurate Typing/Data Entry - Min 40 wpm/5000 kph
Computer Literate - Intermediate/Advanced MS Excel and Word
Need to be a Detail-oriented, and a Critical Thinker who is able to think through processes and work independently as needed.
Ability to meet deadlines is very important.
Good verbal and written communication skills
