Application Developer - C#, .Net, Oracle, SQL Server
Location: Chicago, IL
 

TOP TIER DIRECT FORTUNE 100 BANKING / FINANCIAL CLIENT is looking for an Application Developer who has experience in C#, .Net. This position will be based out of Downtown Chicago, IL.

 

There are Multiple Positions

 

  • Senior C# .Net Developer interested in systems integration and SOA development.
  • Provide leadership in a collaborative team environment
  • Analyze requirements and architect software system design
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to internal developers and external consultants.
  • Lead complex software projects
  • Establish policies and procedures for software application design, development, testing and documentation.
  • Provide applications and utilities to enhance production performance
  • Creates testable software
  • Work confidently with all levels of management.
  • Provide procedures and documentation for audit and regulatory compliance.
  • Thinks quickly and works to resolve problems.


Job Requirements

Required Skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal instructions; self-starter
  • Ability to take business requirements and develop solid technical solutions
  • Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills
  • 3 + years experience programming in .NET using C#
  • 3+ years experience working with SQL Server
  • Experience using MS Visual Sourcesafe a plus
  • Ability to design and implement database solutions
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Object Oriented Programming
  • Knowledge and/or experience with version control proctices and software
  • Experience with AJAX is a plus
  • Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to debug complex solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • 6 - 8 years of experience in a banking or financial services environment.
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to motivate a team of developers
Ability to take business requirements and develop solid technical solutions
