OFFICE MANAGER

Position Description: American Fence Company of Iowa has a current opening for their Office Manager.  This position is a top level position within our company, having the ability to lead, plan and affect change throughout our entire company.

 
Position Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three years experience in a office or organizational management in the areas of basic accounting, office management, payables and purchasing
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written communication and business writing skills.
  • Ability to direct the activities of others and assure follow through  
  • Skilled in promoting positive relations when interacting with employees or customers.
 
 Position Responsibilities:
 
  • Maintain residential customer contact, appointments, and contract administration.
  • Administer and manage recruitment of new employees in accordance with Company policy and EEO policies from application process to setting interviews and follow-up.
  • Administer purchasing process to assure accountability for procurement
  • Administer receiving process to assure all items are received and processed in accordance with Company policy.
  • Supervise the Workers Compensation and Unemployment Compensation programs
  • Manage other office personnel.
  • Manager and administer basic office and clerical activities.
