Come, shine with us!Astellas is announcing a Manager Sales Analyst position opportunity in our Deerfield, IL location.Responsible for providing primary strategic, analytic support and developing effective selling strategies to ensure optimal utilization of details, samples and other promotional resources, maximum value of in-line product sales and co-promotion agreements, and successful new product launches. Accountable for developing and monitoring relevant sales force effectiveness metrics, conducting ongoing and ad hoc analyses, and providing actionable insights and recommendations to Senior Sales Management to maximize the value of the sales force.Responsible for providing leadership and direction to sales analysis team accountable for analyzing sales data and developing actionable business insights. Accountable for developing effective reporting tools to support critical business decision making at all levels of the sales force. This position will seek opportunities to optimize processes for creating and disseminating actionable, value added franchise reports, sales analyses, key metrics, dashboards, co-promotion reports, and performance scorecards to meet business needs. Responsible for providing strategically focused analyses on sales performance, operational effectiveness, resource allocation and partner target adherence. This position is expected to work closely with all levels of management in Sales and Marketing. |

REQUIREMENTS:- Bachelor Degree in a relevant field.- Minimum five to seven years of pharmaceutical sales, sales operations or analytical experience required that includes data analysis and reporting.- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint.- Working knowledge of one or more programming techniques such as SAS, Microsoft Access, Excel, VBA macro is a plus.- Working knowledge of various statistical modeling techniques and their application within complex analytical projects desired (e.g., regression modeling, promotion response modeling, ROI, correlation coefficient, etc.).- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to details, and the ability to multi-task.- Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage cross-functional projects.- Ability to work independently in a dynamic fast paced environment, with minimal supervision.- Demonstrated ability in taking initiative to proactively evaluate existing sales strategies and recommend changes, when appropriate.- Working knowledge of sales data sources, i.e., IMS Health, Wolters Kluwer Health and SDI is preferred. |
