Senior Technical Service Chemist

The Senior Technical Service Chemist is responsible for working in the Technical Services Laboratory and performing routine chemical & biological laboratory testing on customers' chemical, oil and water samples.  Perform special testing on samples as directed by the Technical Service Manager.  Provide written reports based on the findings of testing performed.  Examples of responsibilities:

• Logging in of samples
• Data acquisition on all tests
• Monitoring the accuracy of data reported
• Cataloging the acquired data and distributing it as needed to other departments; such as R&D, QC and the Training Department.
• Making recommendations for additives (to: customers, distributors, internal corporate personnel)
• Participating in the distributor lab technicians training and auditing of Distributor labs from TS personnel
• Assisting in the selection and monitoring of appropriated field test sites for new product development projects authorized by the Product Approval Committee
