Republic Services, Inc. and Allied Waste Industries, Inc. announced Friday, December 5, 2008, that they have completed their historic merger to create one of the nation's leading waste and environmental services providers. The combined company, which will be based in Phoenix, will be named Republic Services, Inc. and will trade under the ticker symbol "RSG" on The New York Stock Exchange. As of the close of the market on December 5, 2008, Allied Waste stock was delisted and will no longer trade on NYSE. We have a Senior HRIS Analyst position open in Phoenix, AZ.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior HRIS Analyst will partner with the Human Resources team in the definition, development, and implementation of HR technology solutions for proposed and ongoing systems. They will oversee the maintenance of internal database files, codes, tables, interfaces, customers and the development of custom reports.
Representative Responsibilities:
- Anticipates, investigates, and defines internal customers' information needs and develops recommendations for new systems and changes to existing systems and processes.
- Leads the implementation and maintenance of Human Resources information systems. Documents and analyzes business rules and processes. Creates and maintains system and user documentation. Trains users in related systems and processes.
- Serves as liaison between internal customers and technical support personnel. Translates user requests into technical system documentation.
- Manages selected projects related to system changes, upgrades, or conversions.
- Maintain system codes and tables.
- Maintain patch implementation - search Lawson CPU critical patch updates.
- Maintains integration of HR data into other business systems in order to meet the business needs.
- Identifies & corrects data integrity errors within the HRIS system.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
