Medical Device Components

 

World Class manufacturer of medical device components has an immediate need for a Product Development Engineer.  This fast-paced company has a large market share in their industry and

is in a growth mode.  The selected candidate will be degreed with experience in Quality engineering / Quality Management from a regulated (GMP / FDA) manufacturing environment.

Six Sigma training or certification a plus.  The ability to use current quality tools to minimize or eliminate process variables as well as the ability to lead others in a fast paced environment.

Additional requirements include:

 

  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvements.
  • Conduct FMEA, process capability studies, and DOE.
  • GD & T
  • Train employees in inspection, statistical, and problem solving techniques.
  • Map work processes and evaluate and non-value added activities.
  • Implement technical analysis to eliminate variation in our processes.
  • Plan and conduct corporate quality audits on regular intervals.
  • Perform 1st Piece and 1st Article inspection
  • Perform Process capability Studies
  • Program Quantum system as needed
  • CMM Experience
