Ioko, a professional services & systems integrator, builds large systems & software that enable world class media companies to deliver their content to the internet and mobile devices.  We are seeking an experienced Front End Web Developer.  This is a hands-on, customer facing role.  Ioko specializes in designing, building and running world-class technology platforms for large Media & Entertainment companies. As a global $100M company, we help customers build game-changing businesses, not products. We cater to broadcasters, content producers, internet portals, satellite & cable, telecommunications and pay & play gaming companies.

  

Responsibilities

•         Support Technical Leads & Architects in the development of world class enterprise applications for our customers in the media & entertainment industry

•         Develop custom User Interfaces for digital media clients

•         Work independently at the direction of senior team members in a development team environment

•         Write quality code for deployment of on-time and on schedule set forth by Project Managers

•         Work as a team to ensure client’s end product meets quality standards for enterprise software applications

  

  

 

Job Requirements 

Requirements

•         5+ years experience with User Interface development (7+ for senior developer)

•         Extensive experience developing User Interfaces for enterprise applications with hand coded HTML, CSS, Javascript

•         Experience working with technologies such as Flash, ActionScript or Silverlight

•         Experience of Frameworks/Libraries such as jQuery or MooTools

•         Experience of other mark-up languages (such as MCML, XHTML, DHTML) and XML/XSLT would be beneficial

•         Experience of large sites, built around content management software

•         Full lifecycle experience, be highly technical and hands-on

•         Good understanding of Object Oriented approach, processes and methods

•         Experience of working in multi disciplinary teams with Graphic Designers and other developers

•         Be committed to design, build and deployment excellence.

•         Good communication skills, especially with Customers

•         Ability and desire to work with a team and have fun

•         BS degree in a technical discipline preferred

•         Travel up to 25% to client sites, 50% on occasion

 

You will be confident, demonstrate initiative, have excellent communication skills and be able to work externally with customers.
