VB.Net Programmer

VB.Net Programmer needed!!! This is a full time, permanent opportunity! The ideal candidates is a highly motivated team-oriented person! The VB.Net Programmer will be responsible for:

• Using Visual Basic.Net and SQL to develop and maintain the current in-house software application;
• Up to date knowledge of User’s operations and requirements;
• Monitor own work to ensure the highest level of quality, while suggesting improvements as needed;
• Work closely with Team Leaders and Project Managers, taking on new projects as requested;
• Develop test plans and thoroughly test and debug all programs prior to implementation;
• Assist in the development of program specifications, writing code –testing and implementing program changes and program development; and more.

Candidates should have excellent design and analytical skills; have an extensive background with software and hardware troubleshooting; and possess excellent communication skills.

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Engineering or MIS related field OR Equivalent work experience.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience developing with VB.Net in the Sales and Distribution business preferred. Knowledge of Visual Basic SQL programming languages. Expert knowledge of software development life-cycle with emphasis on system design, development, and implementation.

Additional Requirements: High level of understanding of the entire Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Access database. Knowledge of MS-SQL, VB.net, and Crystal Reports.
