Description A growing Medicare Certified Home Health Agency out of San Antonio Texas is looking for a Human Resource Specialist to add to their team.

Job Responsibilities:

*Process all new employees and ensures that the following documents are copied, verified and/or completed: 
    Employee Data Sheet
    I-9 Form
    W-4 Form
    Physical Questionnaire
    Criminal History Background Check
    Employment Verification Documents
    Licensure/Certificates
    
* Generates monthly list of employee evaluations, due one month in advance, and forwards list to the appropriate Manager.

*Ensures that all employee information is gathered, entered in the computer system and the employee folder is complete after 7 days when a new employee begins to work.

*Maintains the Employee Health Records. Ensures that each record is in compliance and notifies the appropriate Office Manager of each employee whose test or screening is due.

*Verifies employment inquiries within a timely basis.

*Distributes employee benefit plans as scheduled, and appropriately.

*Complies with Company and department policies and procedures.

*Prepares Employment Agreements.

*Maintains all employee personnel files.

*Works with employees to ensure proper new hire orientation. Ensures that the necessary paperwork is properly completed prior to orientation.

*Generates monthly list of personal file items needing to be updated in employees personal files, due one month in advance, and forwards list to the appropriate Manager.

*Enters finance invoice information into agency finance system on a timely basis for payables processing.

*Assists with bi-weekly payroll processing by reviewing paychecks for accuracy and distributing to branch offices on a timely basis.

*Coordinates employee exit interviews and assures copies of such are filed in employee's personal record.

*Direct and control assigned operations and information to maintain sound privacy and security practices and prevent privacy or security breaches. If a breach occurs, take corrective action.
Requirements Job Requirements:

*Bachelors Degree preferably Business Management/ Human Resource Management

*4-5 Years Human Resource Experience
