G2 Interactive, a recognized leader in the digital marketing industry including Web site development, customer relationship marketing, online promotions and interactive advertising, is searching for an exceptional Senior User Experience Architect to join our team in our Hatboro, PA office!
The primary responsibility of the Sr. User Experience Architect is for leading consulting engagements which involve developing client business requirements, defining target customer end user groups, and providing the user-centered design direction for multiple engagements. You will develop and implement project approaches which include client information sessions, customer and user research, competitive analysis and secondary research. The Senior User Experience Architect will utilize their extensive knowledge of UCD best practices to ensure that business requirements and customer requirements are equally satisfied. You will develop new methods of improving the experience of our clients’ customers, and direct other UXAs and Associate UXAs in the implementation of those methods. Where necessary you will perform requirements gathering and analysis, customer research, information architecture and interaction design. You will be responsible for the overall quality of all UX work on multiple engagements.
The Ideal Sr. User Experience Architect Candidate:
- Meet with clients to gather business requirements and define business objectives
- Develop an approach which fits each client’s unique needs, timeline and budget, while maximizing the end-customer experience.
- Research the competitive landscape and make recommendations relating to website functionality
- Plan and conduct, or direct, customer research in the form of contextual inquiry, usability testing, cognitive walkthroughs and remote observation
- Utilize usability-related research services, theories and methodologies to support your recommendations
- Develop the overall UX vision for multiple engagements, including high-level information architecture and interaction design.
- Document information architecture and interaction design by developing site maps, wire frames, prototypes and storyboards.
- Act as the user-advocate during the development process, subjecting early-stage development artifacts to usability testing or expert review, and providing design and implementation direction from a user-centered perspective.
- Interface with clients’ internal creative and technical staff, as well as G2 Interactive’s creative and technical staff, to ensure that website designs meet both client and end user needs
- Mentor creative staff on usability concepts.
- Champion the UX practice and UCD principles inside our organization and to our clients.
Skills and Requirements of a Sr. User Experience Architect:
- Project scoping and estimation techniques
- User research methods and best practices
- User interface design principles, information design, and web design.
- Rapid HTML prototyping
- Wireframing, and behavioral specifications
- Contextual inquiry and persona development
- Usability testing processes and procedures, including live and scripted remote usability testing, and in-person testing.
- Survey methodologies and market research best practices, as well as an understanding of web analytics and log file analysis and related software products (e.g., WebTrends, ClickTracks, Ominture.)
- Business strategy and general web strategy
- Business process analysis
- Requirements development and analysis; use case modeling; requirements change-tracking and control
