Mergon
Group is a leading supplier of innovative plastic products to world class
customers in the automotive, industrial and healthcare sectors. The Group has manufacturing operations in the
US, Ireland and the Czech Republic. The company now wishes to recruit a senior
sales professional to drive business growth in the US.
THE POSITION
Based in Anderson, South Carolina and reporting to
the Group Director Sales & Marketing, the successful applicant will play a key
role in the development of company strategy and be responsible for all aspects
of business development in the US including the following;
Identification of suitable growth
opportunities for the Company in both existing and new market sectors
Development and execution of a business development plan for the company
Negotiation of terms of business and contracts of supply
Key Account Management of strategic customers
Requirements
THE PERSON
This
is an exciting & challenging opportunity with career growth potential. The position requires a commercially aware,
strategic thinker with proven leadership, innovation and business management
skills. A proven track record in custom molding sales is essential. Previous experience in any of the areas of
operations, programme management or engineering within the plastics industry
will be advantageous.
You
will have at least 10 years experience including senior management appointments
and have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering or Science discipline.
