Job Description: The position will be involved in the deployment of new systems and the upgrade of existing systems to the MS Windows platform. This position will be working a second shift from 3:30pm to 12:00am, with a 30 minute meal break, Monday through Friday. It is not anticipated that any overtime will be available. This will be a supervised position but, will require work that meets exact standards. This project is scheduled to end on 31 December 2009. Requirements: The following requirements are the minimum acceptable for any temporary staff hired in support of the Vista Migration project: Must have six (6) months experience: Working in a Microsoft Active Directory environment supporting Windows XP clients or preferably Windows Vista clients. Using system deployment technologies equivalent to Symantec GHOST. Migrating user profiles and data between systems. Installing peripheral hardware to include printers, scanners, cameras, etc. Mapping drives to network shares and creating shortcuts to network resources. Installing commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software. Working in a ‘restricted-rights' user environment. All applicants must be a United States citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance. Selected candidates may be subject to, and therefore must comply with, all applicable U.S. export control regulations. Security Clearance Required.
