Description Makes collection calls for outstanding balances.  Audits patient accounts to ensure accuracy and timely payments.  Consistently works to improve process, collections, and customer service.  Consistently documents actions in AR software system. Maintain the policies and procedures that have been established by the department for the collection of receivables. Works with internal departments on improvement project. Assist the AR department with all special projects.

Requirements HS Diploma or equivalent.  Minimum three years experience in healthcare.  Experience with patient balance collection and account follow-up required.  Must work well in a team based setting.  Customer service experience required.   Phone, IDX, accounts receivable, Microsoft word and Excel experience preferred.
