Description

Packaging maintenance Mechanic and Facilities Mechanic

Overall responsibility and accountability for the safe and efficient operation of the ammonia and steam plant.
Implement and execute preventative and corrective maintenance. Develop and implement standard operating procedures, incorporate them into computerized (SAP) maintenance program.
Plan and assign scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Accountable to NJ Department of Labor, Boiler and Pressure Vessel Compliance. Assume command of Emergency Response Team in the event of a release until relieved by proper authority.
Assist Plant Engineer with budgetary input and planning.
Coordinated safety training with plant safety manager
3-5 years experience in the automation/food/packaging industry, FDA, GMP -regulated environment preferred
Strong Mechanical and Electrical skills
Strong understanding and the ability to quickly troubleshoot and modify PLC
