Description

Key objectives of the position:  The Center Director is a full time salaried position that functions with a corporate team to direct and oversee the day to day operations of the Endoscopy Center.  The Director is a Registered Nurse with administrative ability to organize, direct, coordinate, and evaluate the nursing care and the overall operational aspects of the Center using a team approach. The Center Director supports the mission statement and goals of the center.

  • Maintains appropriate regulatory requirements for the ambulatory setting.

  • Ensures the confidentiality, security and integrity of information of the medical record is maintained.

  • Reviews and analyzes expenses with the operations team and contributes to operating budget development.

  • Oversees acquisition of medical supplies, drugs and equipment and promotes cost effectiveness and implements procedures to control waste.

  • Ability to lead and implement change and serves as a liaison between physicians, staff and corporate partner, AmSurg.

  • Maintains license and credentialing for state, federal and other regulatory agencies.

Requirements

Education and Experience Required:

Must be a registered nurse with management or administrative background in a clinical setting with current unrestricted state license.
