Job Description
To manage sales and service site and to obtain budgeted sales and profit through management of personnel, inventory, accounts receivable, warehousing and customer relations.
SALES
Manage salespersons to ensure satisfactory service to existing accounts and strategic development of new business.
Daily review of sales invoices and month to date sales vs. objectives.
Improve store operating controls.
Address customer opportunities, issues and concerns.
BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
Maintain gross profit objectives.
Prepare annual budget and evaluate actual performance vs. budgeted objectives.
Determine overall business direction in terms of customer base, products and services offered.
Reduce expenses through efficient use of resources, control of assets and inventory.
Manage capital equipment investments and budgets.
Establishing & maintaining stock selection & unit stocking levels for multiple tire lines.
HUMAN RESOURCES
Direct supervision of all store personnel.
Ensure proper selection, development and placement of employees to maximize employee performance and store growth.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal & state regulations.
Ensure that all employees follow safe operating procedures.
Determine personnel requirements and responsibilities: hiring, promotions, terminations and employee performance evaluations.
Provide store personnel training on proper equipment operations, paperwork procedures and proper merchandise control.
Monitors hours worked and control excessive overtime.
Ensures compliance with equal employment opportunity guidelines.
Job Requirements

Travel to customer locations
Prioritizing multiple demands
Scheduling overtime to meet service demand, safety requirements, and budgeted expenses.
Counseling employees on company policy and selling/service activities.
Authorizing payments for purchases.
Setting price for various customers.
Organize sales calls to insure maximum productivity and market coverage.
Control of capital expenditures.
New customer solicitation.
