Townsend Analytics is seeking a Trading Support Representative in our Chicago Office, this position will be on third shift (11PM-7AM) supporting our European and Asian clients.  As a part of the Global Service group, the purpose of the Trading Service department is to provide a world class service experience to our internal and external clients.  We specialize in providing best in class knowledge, response time and resolutions to our highly demanding broker/dealer and distributor client base.

 

Responsibilities:

Own the Service relationship with large multi-national broker-dealer and institutional clients

Provide technical and trading service to a global client base via phone and email interaction

Identify, diagnose, resolve and document technical and trading issues affecting the operation of our trading, content, clearing and compliance systems and applications

Proactively notify clients of developing issues

Recommend modifications to existing procedures and processes

Other projects as needed

Requirements
  • Bachelors degree
  • 1-2 years trading or trade support experience required (OMS, electronic trading, connectivity, routing).  Two years or more preferred.
  • API experience strongly desired
  • Strong communications skills
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills
  • General knowledge of MS Windows and PC software applications
  • Strong customer focus
  • Works well under pressure
  • Team Player
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Flexible hours
  • Knowledge of Asian markets desired
