Certified Nurse Practitioner in Arrhythmia Services, Valley Physician Enterprises
We are building upon our EP services in our Magnet-recognized Winchester Medical Center -- and are currently seeking one Certified Nurse Practitioner to help us to reach our goals! We presently operate six rooms in our Cath Lab, and one of these rooms is dedicated to EP studies. Our Cardiac Electrophysiologist has special expertise in complex catheter ablations to treat AFib, VT, and other tachyarrhythmias. Devices implanted in our Cath Lab include Bi-Ventricular Pacemakers, Bi-Ventricular ICDs, and Single-Chamber ICDs.
WMC is already a Cycle III Accredited Chest Pain Center, and we are proudly the 17th hospital in the United States to earn this newest level of distinction. WMC is also fully certified by The Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center. We have been ranked for the past five years running as a HealthGrades Distinguished Hospital Award-Winner for Clinical Excellence. Winchester Medical Center has been a Top 100 Hospital, and has also been ranked as a Top 100 Cardiovascular Hospital in the nation.
The Opportunity
Winchester Medical is seeking to further advance its Nursing clinical excellence by adding this new Certified Nurse Practitioner position in the growing EP division of The Heart and Vascular Center. The CNP will work collaboratively with physicians and staff, and provide care, support, and education to our EP patients. The CNP will provide clinical expertise in support of our EP services, positively influence change in clinical practice and education, and help apply current research findings in evidence-based practice. Winchester Medical Center is currently undergoing an unprecedented 140 million-dollar expansion, and a key part of this expansion includes numerous additions to The Heart and Vascular Center. We will have a one-story addition to increase the number of holding rooms, add one additional Cath Lab room, and have shell space in place for four additional Cath Lab rooms. We will be also expanding our number of Critical Care beds and our number of Step-Down beds. Our construction is projected to be completed in 2012.
Attitude is Everything
Attitude is everything. To our patients, it can be the difference between hope and despair. With the right attitude, we can embrace change, rise to new challenges, and do the right thing. Our attitude allows us to be honest, yet compassionate; professional, yet human; goal-oriented, yet thoughtful. When confronted with a problem, we will solve it, not become a part of it.
