Description We are looking for a Payroll Specialist with extensive experience with Payroll Tax for multi-state employers. The candidate for this position will be responsible for processing payroll on a bi-weekly basis for employees in a multi-state, multi-employer company, and ensure that all data is transmitted properly. The candidate will be coordinating all payroll reporting activities for 500+ employees, along with handling all payroll issues and problems. The candidate will be overseeing processes for all payroll status changes, garnishments, direct deposits, etc. They will be preparing all required reports for federal, state, and local government agencies. This position is strictly Payroll and Tax; no HR experience desired.

Requirements

5-7 years payroll experience in a mid-size company.
Strong knowledge of multi-state processing and payroll laws.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Strong Customer Service orientation, including the ability to articulate payroll information and respond to manager and employee inquiries effectively.
Excellent organizational skill with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of employees within the organization.
Understanding of all regulatory tax requirements.
No Human Resources experience.
