Job Description

Perform role as Product Manager/ BA.  Able to sit with Sales & Dev. team to communicate needs and produce the product for the end client. 

 

The Product:

-Virtual Gateway in the payments industry, from an acquiring standpoint

-Lots of moving parts

    +5 releases at once - like serving dinner - all the food comes out at once

    +Integrated system, one piece affects another

-Plan is to go global 

     +Currently less 1 million transactions running through the server

     +Over next 3 years will grow to tens of millions

-Scope of the project makes it demanding

 

Work environment:

-Fortune 500 company

-Atlanta, GA

-Perm role, expect 60 hours each week

-Can work out of Chicago, Philadelphia or Baltimore; commute 1 week ea/month to Atlanta

-Notebook workstations, responsive to phone calls

-Some flexibility with scheduling, must be in office during core business hours

-The VPis interested in RESULTS!

Job Requirements

Must have:

-6 years experience Payments Industry- ideally with a payment processor or software company

-5 years exp in Prod. Mgmt in software and/or browser/ASP products use for real time transaction processing

-4-8 years exp of direct Prod Mgmt or operations exp with any of the following: VeriFone (GO) software, Shift4$ on the net, Southern DataComm Proto Base, Hypercom (TPI), Mainstreet software or similar

-Need to know what an API or SDK is and could explain it very easily

-Be able to explain what an ISO is...

-Managed a virtual gateway

-Need payment process (acquiring) experience, not pre-paid

-MS-RMS, worked with a plug-in

-Technically competent - but not a coder

-Presentation and Interpersonal skills must be strong

    +No second guessing

    +Confident to defend and justify your standpoint

-Good technical and product line experience

    +Gateway with suite of virtual capabilities

-Hard work ethic
