Description
Processing returns: Open up boxes coming from UPS and FedEx … returning credit to customer via Return authorization in Excel and ACCPAC software. (simple program which can be taught)
Data entry: Issuing credit notes in the system.
Warranty checks: item comes in and review serial number to see if it is still under warranty or not.
Inventory control: picking, packing, processing the info in ACCPAC and UPS World Ship
Assist Quality Assurance: unpacking boxes, packing boxes, set up, inventory checks, cycle counts, testing, etc;
Warehouse maintenance (daily and as needed) – sweep the floor, maintain personal work area, assist with closing.
One employee notes the importance of the 5 S – sort your area, shine your area, standardize your area, serialize your returns, service internal or external customers!
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years previous warehouse and shipping experience in a distribution environment.
UPS WorldShip experience a plus.
Basic working knowledge of computers – Excel, Word & Outlook. (ERP, ACCPAC Proficiency is a plus)
Must be able to lift boxes up to 50 lbs.
High school diploma required.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Attention to detail is a must.
Technical background in video based electronics and software operations systems is helpful.
