CUSTOMER RETENTION MANAGER
Overview:
Responsible for strategic development, building and delivering best of breed strategies and initiatives that have achieved outstanding business results on a sustainable basis including accurate and timely execution with integrated marketers, and has operated in most of the accountable communications channels.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the oversight of customer retention contact initiatives/loyalty programs including the strategic direction, evolution, integration and execution of these programs
- Development and ongoing enhancement of customer value proposition including the impact on customer engagement
- Creation of short and long term marketing strategies
- Extensive knowledge and research of outside environmental factors, such as new technologies and competing trends
- Integration of programs into communications platforms including social media
- Teamwork, Leadership and Customer Experience Champion
- Interface with multiple vendors and internal groups to ensure best customer experience
- Quickly respond to market needs and customer issues
- Identify, recommend, and select third party vendors to support strategic execution
- Manages and assists with the operation of each program including: budgeting, strategic marketing plans, project management
- Accountable to campaign documentation
- Responsible for maintaining and sharing information across the organization to functionally educate
- Accountable for making sound financial decisions and understanding financial concepts: ROI, Pro-forma, shareholder value and POV and reconciles and adhere to a budget
- Liaises with internal groups to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met
- Identifies opportunities for improvement
- Sets quarterly and annual measurement criteria
- Provide supervisory leadership
- Performs other duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Statistics or related filed, min. 7-9 years of experience
- 4-6 years database retention marketing experience an asset; MBA a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Familiar with the salon services industry a plus
- Strong results oriented behavior and proven track record in leading retention initiatives
- Excellent strategic, conceptual and leadership skills
- Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in innovative strategy and effective solution
- Demonstrated ability to strategically lead an organization or influence teams
