Description
RGBSi is looking for an Elec Controls System Engineer
Duration: 6 months
* Manpower shortage at start of program, in addition to increased program scope to improve engine program attributes.
* Includes Exhaust Throttle Controls, Implementation of Vehicle Features planned for Big Bore and I6, and implementation of improved air management diagnostics based on current product warranty projects.
* Responsible for design and development of electronic control systems for diesel engines.
* This includes the integration of modules, sensors, actuators, and control software into engines and vehicles.
* Electronics experience (hardware and software).
* Experience with Control systems.
Requirements
Desired Skills:
* Familiarity with OBD regulating, Background with engines (calibration experience a plus), System engineering experience, Vehicle development and integration, * Familiar with SAE Communication Standards (J1939), Matlab/Simulink, Data Acquisition
* Also responsible for creating tasks and charts, managing programs, projects, and presentations and training the less senior engineers. Will also become involved and be responsible for customer relations with vendors, dealers, and customers. Works with minimum supervision within parameters established by supervisor, may provide * task direction to technicians and others assigned with minimal direction and routine reporting.
* Diesel engine vehicle features.
* Includes integration of ECU, sensor, actuators, control systems.
Requirements:
* B.S. Technical degree with 5 years Engineering experience OR M.S. with thesis in core competency OR Ph.D. in general area of core competency without experience.
