Albemarle Corporation is currently seeking an SEC Reporting Manager in Baton Rouge, LA.

Characteristics
Key Focus
  • Prepare SEC reporting forms 10K and 10Q on a timely and accurate basis
  • Support preparation of quarterly and annual earnings release data and commentary
  • Responsible for research and support for SEC and USGAAP disclosures
  • Support monthly and quarterly USGAAP consolidated financial statement processes
  • Maintain current on SEC and USGAAP standards including experience with current research media
  • Interaction with external auditors regarding SEC and USGAAP reporting
  • Work on special projects as designated by the Corporate Controller
 


Job Requirements 

Responsibilities:  
  • Manage and review the preparation of Form 10-Qs, earnings releases and the annual Form 10-K and shareholders’ report including footnotes
  • Manage SEC reporting activities and schedules preparation from other members of the team

Accountabilities

  • Overall responsible for monthly and quarterly USGAAP consolidation processes for the company
  • Overall responsible for research and implementation of SEC and USGAAP compliance requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of requirements as needed by the external auditors
  • Timely execution of all routine and ad hoc SEC reporting requirements
