Bosco's Pizza Company has been selling "pizzeria quality" frozen pizza and breadsticks to the food service industry since 1988. Bosco’s products are sold through major food service distributors primarily in the Midwest. Our customers include schools, hospitals, employee cafeterias, concessions, and a variety of independent food service establishments.
We are a dynamic growing company experiencing 15% sales growth year after year and recently moved into our new 50,000 sq. ft. facility located in Warren, MI. The new site supports our continued growth as we have the ability to build on up to 100,000 sq. ft. We are currently semi-automated and are continually seeking to move to full automation.

Process Engineer Duties:
- Conduct engineering studies as assigned on new/existing manufacturing processes and equipment to optimize production efficiency, minimize waste/scrap, and ensure that environmental quality and safety standards are met
- Perform required engineering and direct field work of major alterations and/or repairs to a variety of plant equipment
- Assist with development of sustainability and cost reduction initiatives
- Investigate, thoroughly understand, and apply developments in mechanical and manufacturing engineering to improve manufacturing and process designs
- Perform and organize complete engineering design, costing, installation and start up of approved projects, including responsibility for costs, quality and operation within assigned time limits.
- Ensure adherences to federal, state, and local permits.
- Engage outside vendors, as directed, to perform engineering, construction, or repairs, and oversee their work for adherence to agreements.
- Supervise and direct other project teams, as appropriate, and control outside contractor relative to plant policies and assigned scope of work.
- Assist with the transition of new products from development through production
- Work directly with Maintenance and Operations personnel in developing project scopes, task development, major equipment rebuilds, or modifications to meet chanting operational requirements
- Track capital expenditures for adherence to approved project-spending limits
- Interact with MIOSHA, EPA, AID, BRC and other regulator and third party agencies
- Participate in developing, implementing, and maintaining annual engineering and capital budgets
