Job Summary/Purpose: 

  

This is a working supervisor position.  You are expected to perform and verify preventive work done by maintenance staff. Responsible for the management and supervision of all facilities team members ensuring that preventive maintenance on all physical plant equipment is compliant with internal and external standards.  Oversee daily operations to ensure prompt service to your customers (patients and those who serve the patients), maintain superb appearance for our buildings and grounds. Responsible for compliance with building life safety, joint commission regulations, OSHA, NFPA, NEC DOH and other applicable  standards. 

Flexiblity needed for on-call and extended hours.

Works with maintenance team to continually improve customer service

   

Monitors events outside the company, which impact functional areas.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:


At least eight years experience

Healthcare background required. 3-5 years experience with building life safety, joint commission regulations, OSHA, NFPA, NEC DOH and other applicable  standards a must.


DOH documentation exp. a must
 

Associates degree (advanced degree or life experience preferred) construction management, business or equivalent years of experience acceptable.

MS Office knowledge

Must hold certification in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.

 

Advanced experience in construction management, building maintenance management or building renovations

Ability to effectively plan for lead, organize and manage people

Ability to prepare and control departmental budgets.  Supervise outside contracts and supplies purchases

Familiar with building maintenance techniques, OSHA, NFPA standards, Joint Commission standards

Excellent organizational skills
