This position coordinates PC communications with respect to Medical Group Meetings, Shareholder Meetings, PC Board Meetings, Compensation Committees and other meetings as appropriate. Responsible for distributing agendas in a timely fashion, accurately recording and reporting minutes and coordinating necessary follow up actions. Supports PC Professional Review Committee: Responsible for coordinating the collection of support documents such as Provider Practice Indicators, Patient Complaints, Peer Evaluations, distributing agendas in a timely fashion, accurately recording and reporting minutes and coordinating and coordinating follow up. Maintains confidential WCMG Personnel Files, including ensuring that all PC Employees files are current with respect to licensure, malpractice, DEA Registration, Medical Staff affiliations, and other documents. Ensures integrity, currency, and confidentiality of all matters pertaining to the employment relationship of PC Employees. Ensures accuracy of payor credentialing via data collection and information networks supporting the managed care environment for all providers of the WCMG. Maintains accurate coverage and premium amounts with Malpractice Carrier, Director and Officer Insurance Carrier, State and County Medical Societies, and other regulatory agencies and corporations; including quarterly reporting to the Medical Director. Assists with PC payroll functions, special distributions, and WHC Human Relations interface. WHC provides HR and payroll support to WCMG. Maintains PC Employee Paid Time Off, Disability, Sick Leave, and other records as applicable. Works with CHW Finance to maintain accurate business expense account (2606 Account) data and other accumens as applicable. Act as contact person for PC Employee’s submission of 2606 Account reimbursement requests. Assists Medical Group providers with contracts, staffing, payroll, billing issues and other regulations. Calculates quarterly bonuses for pre-shareholders and AHPs and prepares payroll documents. Assists with recruitment functions, assists with credentialing and recredentialing functions for the Medical Group.Perform related work and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
Administrative experience in a managed care setting, medical staff office,healthcare setting and Human Resources experieince as well as experience in accounting, payroll, and supporting senior level management is desired. Prefer three years experience in comparable work environment. Experience with, advanced word processing equipment and computers is required. Areas of strengths must include: decision making, problem solving, communication skills, analytical expertise, and confidentiality.
High School graduation or equivalent, college preferred AA or BA degree. Two to three years progressive administrative support experience in a hospital, managed care setting or other medical environment.
