Aluminum Drafter - TANK Connection



The TANK Connection Affiliate Group is focused on storage containment for liquid and dry bulk materials worldwide. Our core company base specializes in designing, manufacturing and installing storage tanks, storage products and integrated storage systems.

 

We have the following opening at our Parsons, Kansas location.

 

CAD / Draftsmen:

Summary

  • Drafts detailed fabrication and customer drawings and related information and specifications used in the fabrication and construction of aluminum structures by performing the following duties.

  • Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received on project.

  • Draft detailed drawings and information for structures and installations such as fabrication drawings, field use information and bill of materials.

  • Possess the ability to provide creative and innovative solutions with cross functional team

    Accompany installation crew in field to consult or to collect data required for revision of construction drawings.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Technical Skills – To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of drafting skills, design software, AutoCAD & Solidworks 3D.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
