Responsibilities:

Lawn care technicians have a key role within our landscaping organization. Their responsibilities include everything from monitoring the landscaping quality to controlling and preventing weeds. They also mow, edge, lay mulch down, trim small trees and shrubs, keep the lawn free of pests and blow lawn debris off the walk areas.

Requirements

Irrigation Service/Repair

• Wire tracing experience

• Repairing mainline leaks

• Experience with irrigation controllers

Irrigation Installation:

• Drip irrigation installation
• Pipe sizing
• May need an a brief understanding of the Spanish language

Landscape Installation:

• Install plants, trees, sod
• Understand landscape plans
• Operate a skid steer or backhoe

Lawn Maintenance:

• Mowing grass
• Prune plants
• Install annuals

May need to take direction from a Spanish speaking foreman.
