Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) Engineer / Technician - Steren Electronics
The
Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) Engineer / Technician's primary focus is on managing the Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) within the Department. This includes coordinating communications and requirements between
Steren USA and
Steren China. The position shall oversee the Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) activities and major projects.
Duties:
1. Responsible for developing, implementing, executing, measuring, and maintaining
programs for the systematic monitoring and evaluation of the critical aspects of a project,
system, process, service, and facilities, to ensure that standards of quality are being met.
2. Develop and implement a Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) methodology including a process
of continuous improvement. Implement this process throughout the organizations
including; Steren San Diego, Steren China, and Steren’s suppliers.
3. Review all current Quality Assurance/Quality Control documentation to ensure it is in line
with actual processes, policies, and procedures. Where not in line, define and publish the
Company’s quality standards in the form of policies and procedures. Develop a revision
control process/procedures to insure Quality Assurance/Quality Control documentation is
current.
4. Review all current Quality Assurance/Quality Control reports to ensure they are in line with
the actual internal and external needs and requirements.
5. Analyze failures/rejections and determine cause, effect and remedies, including
researching suitable solutions and estimate costs and timelines.
6. Develop and publish reports necessary for the business to track major issues.
