Job Description:
The Director of Medical - Surgical /Pediatrics is accountable and responsible for the effective delivery of competent, compassionate, and efficient patient care in the Medical - Surgical /Pediatrics Unit. This includes overall direction of clinical, human resources, and financial management. Director will manage 41-bed Medical, Surgical unit and an eight bed Pediatric Unit. The 14-bed surgical wing provides specialized care for joint replacement, urological, general surgical and advanced spine surgery patients. Director will supervise 62 FTE’s and report to the Director of Nursing.

Requirements
Qualified Candidates Must Have:
· Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (MSN or masters in related field preferred)
· RN
· Minimum of five years acute care experience (Some Critical Care Preferred)
· Minimum of two years of management or supervisory experience
