Strategic Business Consultant
Responsibilities:
· Increase advisor production by providing consulting services, mostly via telephone, to an assigned group of advisors
· Support advisors in goal setting and business planning with the intended result of significant business growth
· Cultivate strong, long-term relationships
· Facilitate group meeting via conference calls and in person (i.e. host web conferencing)
· Present at events, meetings, corporate sponsored educational forums or BSG promotions
· Will be held accountable to measurable results
· Suggest ideas proactively for value-added services to advisors
· Understand and communicate wealth management strategies and practices
· Position First Allied products and services where appropriate
· Help advisors understand and implement best practices and sales techniques
· Must be able to work several hours each day on the phone
· Limited travel
Requirements
Position Requirements:
· 3-5 years experience in the financial services industry with a marketing/sales background
· Performance based sales coaching or training experience preferred
· Prior experience as a successful financial advisor with an established book of business
· A team player with initiative, excellent judgment and ability to provide excellent service
· Outgoing, personable and professional with excellent follow up skills
· Strong presentation skills
· Series 7 and 65 or 66 licenses preferred; insurance licenses preferred
· CFP or wealth management designations preferred
