Job Description

We are seeking an independent, detail oriented individual to help maintain and administer client and contact data in the Firm's contact relationship management system (CRM).  This person would be tasked with taking the lead on various projects and utilized initiative and independent judgement in their day-to-day dealings.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the data-changing management inbox on a regular basis to process new and modified contact information.
  • Assign overflow tickets to data stewards firm-wide to ensure timely processing of new and modified contact information.
  • Must be comfortable with intense data entry and detail oriented tasks in a technical CRM environment, mastering intricate processes, procedures and best practices to ensure the optimal functionality of InterAction.
  • Enter contact data for attorneys and secretaries on an as-needed basis.  Support and back-up secretarial and marketing staff for all InterAction-related issues.
  • Pro-actively monitor the firm's contact data collection to insure the data is being kept current, standardized and organized according to the Firm's CRM best practices.
  • Help maintain the standard guidelines created for the Firm's CRM.
  • Communicate any questions that arise regarding contact information to attorneys and their secretaries, in order to resolve data conflicts.
  • Implement and oversee firm marketing and event mailings as requested via e-mail or postal mail.
  • Monitor trade journals and alert attorneys and secretaries of updates to their contacts.
  • Work with database administrators firm-wide to insure that new staff are set-up in the Firm Personnel folder, given a user account and folder and granted security to any marketing and other Firm lists that the user needs.
  • Provide additional training and floor support to administrative support staff and attorneys, as needed.


Job Requirements

Skills and Educational Requirements:

College degree or equivalent work experience required.
Minimum 2+ years hands-on experience in strategic law firm CRM systems, preferably InterAction.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Working knowledge of Windows and Windows software and relational databases.
Must be detailed oriented.
Proficient with Excel and data manipulation.
Ability to use research tools available through the internet and the library.
Previous proofreading experience a major plus.
Lawfirm and InterAction experience desired.
