Data Analyst/Report Writer

 High volume Medical Billing Company for Emergency Department Physicians seeks experienced Data Analyst/Report Writer.

Responsible for:

• Monitors Electronic Medical Record (EMR) data flow across all internal systems and business partners to ensure it is complete and accurate.​
• Monitors EMR data exchanges between external partners and internal IT systems that it is complete and accurate.​
• Maintains system documentation and develops system specifications and procedures for EMR clients
• Communicate application problems and issues to management and development teams.
• Identify and learn appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization
• Conduct on-going analysis of the business, operating practices, and process flows for EMR clients
• Analyze data and create detailed reports utilizing proprietary tools and third party technologies to identify and resolve data quality issues to ensure quality assurance
• Ability to interface effectively with team members from all functional disciplines as well as senior management.​
• Deadline and goal driven.​
• Create Business Process Maps to document current and future state processes
• Must be a fast learner with a strong desire and motivation to learn the unique aspects of the businesses and current applications
• Gather and analyze massive amounts of information expeditiously.​

• Bachelors degree from a four-year college and/​or a professional certification requiring formal education
• Expertise in data analysis, to facilitate identification and resolution of EMR data issues.​
• Ability to analyze processes and data of our EMR clients and sensitively offer productive solutions.​
• Excellent analysis and communication abilities.​ Technical proficiency in SQL, Crystal Report and Excel.​
• Knowledge of client standard systems interfaces technologies and protocols, including HL7 and batch interfaces while not required is a plus.​
• Candidate must be able to function independently with minimal oversight and direction.​ They may also be responsible for instructing and guiding lower level professionals.​
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
