Construction Project Executive
David A. Nice Builders, Inc. is a nationwide retail contractor, corporately based in Williamsburg, VA. We build for nationally recognized high-end retailers such as Nautica, Tourneau and JCrew. We are fortunate in this tough economy to be growing and expanding our reach in to growing markets. We are opening a new satellite location in Los Angeles, CA and this has created a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate that can take the reigns of this new location as Construction Project Executive.
We are specifically looking for a self-starter with a very high level of enthusiasm and ambition. The right candidate must posses strong people skills, the ability to motivate and to negotiate.
The Project Executive (PE) will have a wide range of duties that cover all aspects of the construction process. The PE will handle marketing and networking functions, contract negotiations, and everything from the conceptual development phase of the project, through final completion. It is the PE’s responsibility to ensure that the project is done on time, on budget and with the utmost of quality control.
Preferred candidates would have prior experience in construction management, marketing and contract negotiations as well as blue print reading skills and strong computer skills. Also, there is preference given to candidates with a good working knowledge of the California business market. There is no relocation offered with this position.
