Description

If you are a hard charging executive sales director or manager in the Cleveland area, this is  your time to shine.

We are excited to seek a Director of Accounts for stable and growing private equity-owned organization in the Cleveland area.

This company has grown at a 15% CAGR over the past 6 years.  They have grown from $70 million to $165 million in 7 years.  All of this has been done in an industry that in unit volume has shrunk in size. They have brought the best practices of consumer product marketing and sales to an industrial business.  This has led to $600 million in shareholder value creation that their executive leaders have participated in over that time.

We seek a unique sales leader; an energetic tough, competent, fact-based leader to continue this growth through a tight economy. It is a new position reporting directly to the VP of Sales with room to advance rapidly.  Duties, responsibilities include

·         Manage a team of senior national account managers around the US and Canada.

·         Develop and implement tactical and strategic national account sales plans to achieve corporate goals.

·         Manage by data, to the root level. Know and understand the activities and results of your sales organization and be able to pinpoint areas for action, daily.

·         Direct national account forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.

·         Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules and deviations.

·         Direct staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.

·         Direct channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas and goals.

Requirements

Qualifications:

 

·         5-15 years managing national account managers or major account managers (seasoned, tenured sales professionals)

·         Demonstrated success in a numbers-driven,  sales organization

·         Highly analytical

·         Experience managing the sale of a commodity product

·         Experience selling to C-Level executives in Fortune 500 accounts.

·         Bachelor’s degree.  M.B.A would be ideal.
