ACCOUNTANT (Manufacturing Operation)

• Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Compile data and participate in audits.
• Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.
• Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
• Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology. This includes assisting with the Consolidated Balance Sheet.
• Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel  All reporting to Controller
• Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, or maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
• Advise management about issues such as resource utilization and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
• Enter inter-company transactions into ICS software.
• Assist in Data entry into Magnitude.
• Maintain Environmental Contract binder for accounting department, including the Environmental Report Requirements spreadsheet.
• Act as ERP lead and assist with issues/questions; including new account creation, etc.
•   AR/AP reporting to Controller

Four year degree preferably in Accounting or at minimum a business related field
