Description

Goodman Networks, a professional services company serving the wireline and wireless telecommunications industry, is a National Vendor for Cingular Wireless, Andrew Corp., Sprint/Nextel, and Alcatel. We are currently seeking a Siterra Data Admin for work in Schaumburg, IL.


SUMMARY:
The role of the Siterra Data Admin is to support the Program / Project Manager by maintaining the distribution and maintenance of the flow of documents, records, files, and reports from a single or multiple project teams. Candidate must have the ability to work in a lightly structured, fluid working environment and to quickly adapt to changing requirements. Candidate must have the ability to work with minimum direction and must work well in a team environment. Candidate must have strong written and verbal communications skills. Primary responsibilities are data input, uploading to databases, and general office administration.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for all documenting and tracking of project deliverables by project staff to ensure timely data entry for real time status reporting to the regional director and Controls representative.
• Will be responsible for setting up records, files, and supplies required for maintaining a project office.
• Responsible for tracking and distributing project schedule.
• Database management – Updating weekly in the required databases, internal or external via Oracle, VPM, UA, CASPR, SITERRA, SiteHandler or any required system.
• Attend, and organize and distribute required material, for any meetings, presentations, conference calls and training sessions as directed by the Program / Project Manager.
• Record and distribute any and distribute minutes for all meetings as requested.
• The control and maintenance of project trackers through MS Excel or MS Project.
• Maintenance and posting of project Safety records, files, reports and documents required by company procedures.
• Providing assistance as needed by the PM or Purchasing Department for project material & equipment ordering, tracking and expediting.
• Serves as a single point of contact between the project team, and Controls department.
• Providing administrative assistance to the PM and other members of the Project Team.

Requirements

 QUALIFICATIONS:
• Expert in all aspects of Microsoft Office – (Microsoft Project, Excel , Visio, Word)
• Ability to travel as required (25%)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality essential
• Able to work in a self directed environment
• Familiar with basic accounting and able to calculate discounts, percentages etc.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as client specifications, requirements and reports.
• Ability to write clear and concise status / progress reports
• Proficient in a LAN / Workgroup
• Previous telecom experience desired.
• Ability to identify resources to verify information and communicate effectively, identify problems and work out a solution.
• Ability to work at a high level of accuracy with attention to detail
• Must be able to work overtime on short notice.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be flexible and able to adjust quickly to changing priorities.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Valid drivers license required.
